Preface on the Steamlink:

I tried using my Steamlink last night. I have the Steamlink wired into my router, but my gaming PC is upstairs. There's maybe 15 vertical feet from the computer to the Steamlink. I'm going to go ahead and say that it's a nice idea, but I've had it for a year and it just doesn't work. I'm prepared to call the entire project a failure. Does Valve want to support this thing or not? It absolutely requires the gaming PC and Steamlink be wired.

I understand that my computer wirelessly transmitting the data for something like Road Redemption can be tough. I've got a USB WiFi adapter. If there's a faster WiFi adapter, I'm all ears. (Would something that connects to PCI be quicker?) Some games do better than others. That's not the part that makes me give up on the thing. Rather, a game showing up when I filter by Steam Controller is meaningless -- Bullshot is one such game. It might be a great game! But it doesn't support the controller. This means I've got to awkwardly navigate the Steamlink menus to exit. Whatever flag is being set for Steam Controller is apparently controlled by the developer.

Additionally, a very common occurrence is a game more or less dying via Steamlink, yet being active on the gaming PC. This means that resources are being spent to run a game that has lost sync with Steamlink. If I want to start another game, well, OK, but I've got the first one in the background. It's a mess. They should abandon the project at this point, the technology isn't there.

Here are the games I've grabbed so far:

Ballistick (nephew tried it out, seems fun)
Tachyon Project (Grid Wars clone)
Pac-Man 256 (interesting enough)
Bullshot (no idea)
Subnautica (someone told me this is a good game, I forget who)
Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings (I got this one on the recommendation of a gaming website. So basically I'll find out if that website has friends on the development team or not based on how good it is)
Super Mutant Alien Assault (haven't tried it)
SkyScrappers (this is one people recommended when I read up on The Outfoxies, which I read about when Jerry mentioned it.)
Party Saboteurs (not sure if it is multiplayer only)
Space Incident (this seems like Brataccas from what I have read)
NEON Ultra (can't remember)

I did get Tyranny. The writing is so bad at the beginning that it makes me not want to play it.
