| It's "heroes" (elite units) with active abilities plus units.
Warcraft 3 was heroes plus units, so you had units to think about an army comp. DOTA has your hero but no units, so you can concentrate solely on your hero. DoW 3 makes you control your heroes/elites plus a bunch of units, but the non-elite units are nearly inconsequential fodder. They have the same impact as minions in DOTA. Why bother? |
