I notice most of the fan community right now is running this mod and thinks this. This was true with the prequel true, and this time they have the backing and funding from Firaxis. I haven't had time to try it myself, but I've been meaning to get back to the game.
If anything, I still say everybody tries Grimey's Loot Mod, either for the base game or Long War. It's so fun, screw balance, or remember you can always adjust difficulty mid-game. Also a guy made a stealth sword/throwing dagger mod adding timer-based stealth-kill mechanics with detection levels, I have to have that because it makes those kind of classes more fun. I've still got 'em killed so it seems to work well. |
