It's inevitable. If you have too much to drink one afternoon and Charisma Carpenter's tit double throws you down on a futon, there's literally nothing you can do about it, no matter how much you love your pathologically naive wife. The sickening part is how he spent twenty years gaslighting this poor dumb woman into thinking he was some kind of eunich, that his interest in the procession of hundreds of highschool cheerleaders with identical body types that constituted his entire professional life was purely... I can't even think of a way to finish this sentence that makes sense given all the words preceding it. Now she has PTSD! And probably Gulf War Syndrome, too. We still don't know what causes that.

This news has forced me to reconsider Dollhouse. I'd assumed it was a darkly feminist critique of the way the entertainment industry brainwashes and exploits women, like an R. Crumb cartoon; now I'm wondering if it wasn't just a grossly unselfaware misogynist fantasy the whole time, also like an R. Crumb cartoon? I'm honestly not sure which I would prefer. I'll need to get Adam Baldwin's take on this. Stephen's, too, if he has one. Can whoever keeps linking those sadsack meninist blogs here keep an eye on it, and embed the tweets for me when they come out? I'll also accept a tasteful selection of memes, but don't waste my time.
