What the hell is going on with GOG.COM payment processing? by Commander Tansin A. Darcos 08/26/2017, 6:47pm PDT
I regularly get e-mail offers from GOG regarding various games. This time they were offering some games I was interested in buying and the order in the shopping cart on their website came to under $26. So I tried to order the games.

Credit card #1 was declined; GOG says to call my bank. The bank says that they've had too many chargebacks or something related to GOG and can't process any order with them.

Debit card from my credit union is refused by GOG's website, says the number is wrong even though I've used it before.

Credit card #2 is declined. Bank said the charge was approved then credited back. This means the bank does not know why it was declined as there is no reason code, meaning the bank did not decline the transaction, someone else did.

Debit card for my corporate account is declined.

I'm out of ideas.

This isn't counting the problems I had trying to check out with my shopping cart on a different computer than it knows, GOG would e-mail me a pin number to validate my computer only the number was not recognized. And 4 failed tries lock out accesses to my account for twelve hours.
