Lords of Xulima experiment by Ice Cream Jonsey 09/03/2017, 10:46am PDT
There is an experiment that I'd like to run. I've had discussions over the last year about this site, and more people than I would think state that they read the front page first and then sometimes wander into the forums. It is no secret that the general trend of this website, since its creation, is that page views go slightly down each month. We do a wonderful job turning people away.

To this end, I'd like to have something new, at least once a month, on the main page. I have wanted to engage in this project many times before but when stuff piles up maintaining Caltrops is the first thing to go. (I added a Resident Evil 7 article in February. After I put that up, I had a $2500 vet bill for one of our dogs. I had a serious conflict with a terrible window and door contractor ["Casey Windows and Doors" in Denver, if you are ever looking for the biggest piece of shit contractor in Denver, though I think they went out of business.] We had a cat die in May, June and July and I also got married. So all of these things are done with, thus me wanting to spend time with the site now.)

Lords of Xulima is, from all accounts, a nice RPG that I'd like to spend a ton of time with. I think that there is truly a market for reviews on RPGs. So if you have the game and have played it and want to write up your thoughts, let me discuss what a fair payment is for work. If you have been thinking of trying it and want to write up your thoughts then certainly I am up for paying you for the price of the game, whatever it is now, when it's complete. This is absolutely an experiment just to see how it goes. I'm asking around to see what people are paying for reviews on other sites now, too.

If interested, just write here and give me some sort of indication as to who you are.

I like that those areas are sequestered and I don't have to read them. NT by John Gulp 10/29/2017, 7:29pm PDT NEW
