The 7th Guest by fabio 10/30/2017, 4:37am PDT or "HOLY SHIT you cannot skip any of these cutscenes including the 10 minute intro!". Clicking on the funny looking mask on the very first screen made me rewatch the entire 6 guest intros again. The main menu Ouija board pointer is the worst cursor in gaming history. The pointer is actually in the middle of the triangle, not the tip, and they put "return to game" right above "quit to main menu" and that little misclick made me have to start over and rewatch the entire intro again. Someone tell me why the "series of amusing brain teaser riddles" form of adventure games never took off after this was a massive hit. In fact, why did it totally disappear until the Professor Layton games? It's a far superior model to inventory item based bullshit, yet that made a comeback thanks to Longest (fucking) Journey rather than staying dead and buried where it belonged. I'm going to have to go get some Professor Layton games.
