Canon 18-55 lens that came with my camera. This is the only one I don't like, and I am keeping it solely in case I break one of the others so that I don't have a camera with no lens. I never figured out how to shoot well with it. It seems I never gave it the right amount of light.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Prime Lens. I did a couple Zombie Crawl shoots with this and for a beginner, it was everything I could have hoped for. Then I dropped it and it broke and it wasn't worth the hassle and expense to get it fixed.
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens. I like this one but I can't articulate why. I have been told it is a cheap POS that sucks. While I like what I get out of it, it is odd to have to run away the minute I see something I want to snap a pic of. It has a hard time taking numerous shots of the same subject on auto focus, and I don't trust myself enough to ever go manual.
Tamron 17-50 F2.8. This was recommended by a friend and I got it, but I haven't used it for anything other than cats and dogs yet. It does seem nice for cats and dogs! He thought it would eventually become my go-to lens and I think it has already replaced the 18-55 I got with my camera, sure.
I think I may try another prime lens next, I don't know. Caltrops, what do YOU shoot with?
