Then they got the bright idea to charge a flat fee for unlimited access and their community grew rapidly. Also I guess Earthlink and some other start-ups were threatening their position. Flat fee has been the standard for about 22 years now. Why does any sane person think we're going back to the bad old days of 3.50$ per hour of use?
