Bloodborne by fabio 12/25/2017, 2:02am PST I wanted to check this out on the promise that it was Dark Souls but dropping all the defensive turtling melee for more aggressive Devil May Cry gameplay. There's no more shields so that's a plus. Not sure how much different the ranged staggering system is from the Dark Souls parry system though. Holy fuck this game throws you in the deep end right away with very little chance to get used to anything. No opening Asylum Level here, not even an Undead Berg. This is like if they threw you into the Suburbs for the very first level. (I hate how the PS4 controllers decided to emulate the triggers of the Xbox controllers. Can we please just declare the original PS2 dualshocks as the best controllers of all time and not change them?)
