The Kinect was a solution in search of a problem by Commander Tansin A. Darcos 05/18/2018, 3:58pm PDT What exactly did the Kinect do for us that justified having it? Once you get Skype and use it to talk for free, the next thing is to buy a webcam - or buy two and send one to someone you want to see - so you can add video, especially if it's a close friend.. But Kinect as a device simply added motion sense or background detection. And what exactly does it "buy" us that really makes for a significant improvement?
