Meh, I can see why they decided not to charge for this DLC by Mischief Maker 06/24/2018, 2:19pm PDT It's not a recreation of the Shadowrun system. It's just you and the ICE swapping damaging zaps for 20 minutes until the ICE finally dies. Damage comes in 3 elemental varieties named after computer-sounding terms and each ICE has a 30% weakness to one element. But the biggest complaint is the hacking fucks Starcrawler's economy in the ass. Repair costs are astronomical (no free healing like your meatspace heroes), you don't find free programs in containers around the dungeons like you do free weapons and armor, and the prices for up-to-date programs are insane. And if you're lucky and manage to reach a datastore, you might collect a piece of salable data for 1/6th your repair costs. Fortunately it's entirely optional and the regular game is great.
