What are faggots calling "diablo-type" games these days? Action RTS? Action RPG? Dungeon Crawls? Whatever. It's one of those deals and when done right, I like them. Neocore went full autist with the 40k lore, which I also like quite a bit.

I've only played through as a tank (assault sentinel? Whatever.) You have options to choose Psyker (caster) or Assassin (stealth.) Voice acting and scripts are better than expected. After the main storyline (complete with rolling credits) there is still a decent amount of single player content in random missions and weeklies that have so far been nearly as well done as the main campaign. I suspect procedurally generated maps and a finite number of canned scripts will eventually be tiresome, but I haven't hit that point yet. Don't know about the DLC situation yet. There is PVP and Co-Op multiplayer as well, leaderboards, all that shit.

Correct with being an Inquisitor, you aren't going to see Orks, it's all Chaos marines, cultist, demons, heretics and traitors. I liked that too. Single Player campaign was interesting enough to polish the fact that most missions are: "Kill all the red dots on the map (cleansing) while looking for really important shit and/or a sequence of really important shit," "Make your way to this asshole or that fucking important thing and don't let them die for X waves (escort like)," or "Kill the extra special Boss, not just the one somewhere on most of the maps." Sometimes you get to drive around vehicles, since it's 40K these are hilariously lethal and the experience is more satisfying than gay.

Bosses will test your level/power number. Drops aren't Blizzard gay, but relics are rare as they should be and You'll be fine without them. Game has surprisingly decent crafting, haven't even unlocked it all, but was able to make myself upgrades to drops at critical times. Nice. There are level perks, talent trees and SKO morality meter consistent with in-game choices (they are presented as such, you won't miss them) that lead ultimately to Puritan or Chaos warrior with abilities afforded in either direction.

Solid attempts were made to make this game unique to the Warhammer 40k universe and not just another whatever the fuck RPGTS. I appreciate that. Do not regret purchase.
