If those posts existed at the rate they did now and we had 20 posts about games a day it would be a great ratio. All the gaming discussion has disappeared. I was paying Tdarcos a small monthly fee to start conversations here. He's great at it. I am absolutely proud of his madcap ways. Again - if he starts one thread a day and we have the crazy political stuff going AND game posts everywhere the site would be really great. Maybe the personalities that we have here are a little more sedate than they used to be. In the past what has worked has been front page articles. Those work great (and I would hand management of that over to someone if we as a community weren't deeply scarred from being deleted and ejected three times) but it does cost money. I don't want to run ads here, so that's another vicious circle. Right now I am not sure what the site offers new people other than a place to scream at people with a different political view than yours and not have to worry about getting banned. ICJ |
