| (To anyone thinking of getting this - the white added to his costume on the game box looks so awful - luckily he doesn't look that way in the game, at least at the start. It's always a bit amusing to me when people take costume designs or sports uniforms that have endured for 75 years and think, nope, *I* can improve this.)
The Kingpin is an interesting choice for the first boss enemy. Spider-Man has the best rogue gallery of anyone, and I hope this game takes us through fighting each one. I don't know who this Yuri person is, but one thing I always kind of liked about Spider-Man is that while Superman had discussions with Perry White and Batman had discussions with Jim Gordon... the equivalent in Spider-Man's life, JJJ, hates his guts. So structurally, Spider-Man getting missions from a person makes sense so he's not brooding in his own head. The puzzle portions were a total break from what everyone spent $60 for, but it looks like they are skippable. All you get is a cheevo if you do them, apparently. Passsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. It's a good game so far. ICJ |
