It's official, I like this better than Divinity Original Sin. by Mischief Maker 10/02/2018, 11:39pm PDT Of course the major downside of Battle Brothers is the terrible tutorial that leaves you completely unprepared for the toss-you-in-the-deep-end difficulty. But wow, what a difference between controlling a party of 12 verses a party of 4. I can set up defensive lines, I can herd the enemy into envelopments, and I don't even need to force things with "taunt" abilities. And the enemy AI is great. Totally willing to hang back and let their archers soften up my bros if it has the terrain advantage, avoids obvious traps, strategies that work wonders against zombies fall apart when facing orks. Just an incredibly well thought-out gameplay system and I love it. Also, apparently there's a new expansion in the works!
