So I'm as tired of #metoo as the next guy but this Kavanaugh thing has media outlets losing their fucking minds. I was listening to some show on NPR called !-A (stupid name for a program if you ask me). One of the "producers" on the show, named Lauren, was passionately including herself in the story by talking about her "rape". Here's the story she gave: She went to a party with a guy she had a crush on, they got drunk at the party (apparently she thought he got more drunk than she did), she said they went to his house and had CONSENSUAL sex with him. Apparently, in the middle of consensual sex, "somehow" it turned into ANAL sex and of course IT HURT and he didn't stop quite soon enough. She ended the story by saying how she CONTINUED TO DATE THE BOY FOR MONTHS. Throughout the rest of the hour long radio show she referred to this as "her rape". Was that really rape?
Also, sounds like they're saying something like 80% of women have been sexually abused/assaulted. I had no idea it was so easy to get away with that shit, i've been missing out on all kinds of stuff i guess. Also, that means that either 80% of you guys have been doing this and mostly getting away with it (or a smaller % are doing lots of it). A horrible sociopath with Jack Straw as a handle often said that "all women are broken", so I guess I can thank you 80% for breaking all of them. |
