Let's put aside the legal definition for now, since I'm pretty sure we're operating out of different hemispheres anyway. I've never had sex, but did you know I've also never had the kind of dental work that requires anesthetic? According to my dentist, I floss with a virgin's diligence. Anyway, if I ever did need that kind of work, and for some reason the anesthetic wasn't kicking in like I expected, and I put my hand on his thigh and told him to stop drilling (or, you know, as close as I could get to "stop drilling" while wearing a dental dam), I'd like to think he'd stop drilling. No matter how drunk or into it he was at the time. On the flip side, if he didn't stop right away, there's really not much I could do about it besides bitch to my friends afterwards, and MAYBE try to find a new dentist. Do you know how lucky I was to get this guy? Everyone says he's the best in the city! And his assistant has the kind of body you'd want to have non-consensual intercourse with. I'm not jeopardizing my chances to accidentally brush against her thigh for any amount of pain. |
