| If "complex but powerful controls" isometric cyberpunk madness is your cup of tea, you should definitely check Ruiner out!
It's also very pretty, in a Suspiria-esque nightmare kind of way. Right up there with Everspace as an example of what the Unreal 4 engine is capable of in the hands of a talented art team: One of my biggest videogaming complaints of all time was how playing a cyborg never matched the kind of mad dashing ninja I had in my head when creating a Shadowrun character with wired reflexes 3, instead videogame cybernetics usually amounted to some boring stat boost. Ruiner is the first game (that I've played) that gets the feeling of a cyborg killing machine right. Give it a try! |
