| Hoo-boy, I'm gonna live up to my nickname with this post!
ICJ, I wasn't entirely honest last morning. Lack of gaming discussion and ironic antisemitism are only partially the reason I've been doing less reviews. I'm no longer comfortable having my creative work (even if it is semi-anonymous) associated with the Christian Patriarchy and we need to start a War on Christmas. I get the holiday now just as much as I did back in 0 AD, but there's a large number of Muslims in that migrant caravan slowly coming to conquer the continental United States and sarcasm doesn't translate well on the interwebs and I don't think some of the newbies even recognize mockery. In any case, while I think it's important to point out to everyone that Jesus and Santa Claus were black, the holiday was past its sell-by date before #me too, and forcing women to put gingerbread men in their mouths is even worse now. I don't think it's too much to ask that we write an algorithm to change any attempt to post about Christmas, especially Steam Christmas sales, with the word "Holiday" and automatically ban the user's ip. Once that's done, I've got some suggestions regarding mandatory pronoun usage on this site. |
