Google thought the risks were worth it wrote:
Pichai stated that "right now" there were no plans to launch the search engine, though refused to rule it out in the future and a suspicious building fire at the worksite just so happened around the same time..?
Anyway, there's no need for a launch plan on their side if everything is majority owned by the Chinese government.
The underlying AI initiative trained to sanitize Google services can be targeted everywhere else.
