| Your population IS going to grow if they've got enough room. So you have to deal with that issue, until you decide not to.
The trader will also bring seeds and livestock, which you can use to build pastures 'n' crops and stuff. But you're right, other than trying to see how big you can make your settlement, it's more about just enjoying the experience of building your little city just the way you want, and keeping your little guys happy and fucking. I mean, I've played for about a dozen hours over the past few days, and I have yet to even make it to the very first (of many) possible achievements, that being, get 100 people in your city. |
