| This is Firaxis going for a more story-heavy / lighter-strategy take, and giving their diversity hires something to do. They took all the aliens from the other games and turned them into snarky millenials. Remember how the Sectoids would screech in the old games and it didn't sound human? Now they sound like bored Youtubers.
