Re: It's a bandaid without changes to monetary system by I Hate Epic 05/21/2020, 7:11am PDT I was kidding about jail for landlords, but this is something I heard once.. when the government started giving out federal aid for college and universities, the price of universities sky rocketed. Because there was more money out there that was easy to obtain. I'm not an economics genius I barely understand economics at all. I don't think anything is gained if UBI passes and predators have their disgusting hands out for the money. I think what we all want is to be able to pay talented people to do the thing they are talented at. Maybe that's writing articles for caltrops. Maybe that's making Christmas ornaments on etsy. Maybe it's raising three kids I don't know.
