You'd have better luck getting delicious maple syrup out of a tree than justice from a cop. Remember that guy in Nova Scotia who killed 22 people? Here's a story about two of his neighbours - both military veterans - trying to get the police to do something, anything, about his escalating violence and illegal firearms before it was too late. Spoiler: they didn't do anything. He had to dress up like a cop and drive around in a homemade police car shooting people before the RCMP felt like they had enough to move forward. I blame Canada's criminally apathetic policing on a lack of black people in the Great White North. Nothing makes a cop get off his ass and put his knee on someone's neck like seeing a black person. It's like a red cape to a bull. That whole SNC-Lavalin investigation might've actually gone somewhere if it happened AFTER we caught Trudeau wearing blackface in highschool.
