When Saltlord said "android mobile" I thought, huh, well, I don't want to get into paying money each year to iOS and Google to have stuff on an app store, and Android mobile development sounds awful. But I've been programming in JavaScript long enough now that, Jesus, I should be able to put something up.
I work in Protractor mostly, so I'd need to come up with the right stack. More thoughts - those of you more experienced, please tell me where I am being dumb:
- The mobile version just needs to be able to read the main page, read topics, read posts, start new posts and post replies. It doesn't need all the other stuff like making new forums and the search integration.
- It's never going to look as good as what Fussbett made, but who cares, the color scheme can at least be made the same. (And actually I'd go back to the redder-shade of purple if I had the time.)
- Do we make the option for logons?
Would Angular be the best language to do this in?
