Starpoint Gemini 3 is a disappointment. by Mischief Maker 11/05/2020, 8:54pm PST Probably wouldn't have bought it if I didn't get a 40% off deal because I previously bought warlords. Somehow this game's graphics have taken a giant step backwards from Warlords. Maybe the game just starts in the ugliest corner of the galaxy? Combat is no longer the confusing mess of 2/Warlords. Instead it's stiff and uninspired and just makes me want to play Everspace instead. If you opt to try the story campaign, your protagonist is quite possibly one of the most unlikable douchebags in the history of videogame protagonists. Barring some utterly heroic patches in the near future, I'd say skip it.
