It's short, and not very hard (that's what she said), but for fans of FPPs (First-Person Puzzlers, I just made that up), I think it's required playing. It's got one main gag, but it's a good one, and done very well.
My only complaint is the opposite of most people's complaint about The Witness. In The Witness, nothing is explained and you have no idea what the fucking point of it all was at the end. Superliminal goes the opposite route, and has the narrator just explain to you in very specific terms what the "message" of the game was. Didn't care for that. Leave some room for interpretation, assholes.
But, very good. Very very good.
