Where the agriculture domes get trashed by the fleets' shooting war?
Those parts were good, as was the plotline about the surviving Martian marine defecting.
Everything after that made me drift off and not continue: the new boring Asian botanist crewmate, the silly delayed self destruct of Ganymede for forced drama, the heel turns back to one dimensional villains for UN security dude and Asian CEO, and especially the nosedive of the Martian marine's defection into the buddy cop comedy with her bodyguard partner.
What I wouldn't give for a reshoot that removes Holden and just puts Naomi in charge.
I might just shelve the TV show and check out the books. I've heard they're better, and at the very least there wouldn't be Thomas Jane and Steven Straight's constipated Josh Hartnett face. |
