| Steam has all of these, but as per usual it's not quite how I remember. Alone in the Dark 1 - 3 are basically as they were -- a little challenging since they're so elderly. I know I played 1 and 3 when they came out, I think I missed 2 back then.
The Alone in the Dark reboot is complete trash. It's incredible, you can't control your guy for shit. It's easier in 1st person, but every time anything happens, it sends you back to 3rd person. Even though it came out in 2013, it's a rough go on modern equipment. Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare -- I bought this when it came out and enjoyed it. I'm 99% sure it was called "Alone in the Dark 4" and I'm looking around for the old CD case. Anyway, this is fine and I'm playing it again. No major issues controlling your character, although I remember the ending being a bit strange. I barely recall it, so playing it again is pretty fun. |
