He keeps insisting The Duke is a bad guy, did he actually play the game? by Rafiki 05/21/2021, 11:07pm PDT
Because The Duke doesn't do anything, he's just a merchant. And fat. At one point Ethan straight up asks him where he comes from or what the nature of his existence even is, and his response is, "I don't know" (aka they didn't want to think of anything, so *~mystery~*). The Duke even picks up Ethan's body at one point and stows it in his carriage for safety (SPOILER). So here you have a guy providing a valuable service (selling guns and ammunition) for a noble cause (shooting people with those guns and ammunition. And I think there was cutscene or note somewhere that said those people might be bad or something, a happy coincidence), cooking up delicious meals if you bring him fresh ingredients, AND ushering you to safety when you're unconscious and vulnerable exactly the way a rapist wouldn't, and all this guy can do is keep labeling The Duke bad because he's fat. Sounds like the author's got his own issues to sort out.

There are a million reasons as to why people can be overweight,

Actually, there's literally only one :(
