California Trannies Ban High-End Gaming PCs by Teach for Amerikkka 07/26/2021, 8:12pm PDT As of December, California and a few other states will make it impossible to buy a gaming PC of high specs. Alienware already prohibiting sales as of today. Consoles are exempt. This is to comply with an energy saving bill that was passed many years ago which is phasing in this December. Colorado, Oregon, Hawaii, Vermont and Washington also banning sales of high powered gaming PCs, taking California’s lead. This is going to make it difficult to get high end machines for game development. We run high end rigs to do rendering and fast compiles and 3D modeling, even if the target machines are lower spec for the games. These high end PCs are also vital to AI research.
