| It's more of a reboot because even Volition acknowledged there wasn't really any place left to go with the story after 4.
This reveal trailer is...bad, though. Mainly because it's a boring cinematic trailer and doesn't show any game. The comments are funny just because of all the people bitching about HRRNNNG HIPSTERS ERRRRG WOKE RAAAGH and people talking about the game being about hipsters gentrifying the hood. Although, that would have been a funny direction to take the game. Instead of being a gang that takes over rival gang turf with your own thugs and setting up drug operations and whatnot, you're a gang of hipsters gentrifying minority neighborhoods and replacing the locals with a bunch of white kids busking on street corners to twee ukulele music and setting up bitcoin ATMs. |
