Joe Dante remembered to still make his meta commentary film entertaining, funny, and witty.
Lana threw a hissy fit instead of just saying "no", then just tossed out the laziest possible META commentary that made Cabin in the fucking Woods look subtle.
While literally giving the audience the finger.
I think it was Rafiki who said, "Meta commentary on pointless wastes of time are fine, but as soon as you charge me money for it, fuck you." *middle finger* |
