As a man who appreciated BSG:D, it's surprising to hear you say this was "not your kind of game". Yes, it's in real time, but as with any realistic naval-type game, real-time moves pretty slowly. Past that, it's all about maneuvering, facing, radars/jamming, all of the stuff BSG does, but in real 3D instead of BSG's 2.5D.
I think the "RTS" tag some have put on it are doing it a disservice, since when I think RTS, I think, quick-clicking action, which this is not.
This is a lot of ship design, slow positioning, using radars to find the enemy, maneuvering to set up the best approach, turning off systems to lower your signature, jamming their radars so your missiles have the best chance of landing, etc. I could have sworn it would be right up your alley.
Anyway, just curious, so I can tailor my generous offers better to your tastes in the future.
