| 1. There is one way to play this game - blitz. Cover is mostly useless to you, and an inconvenience to shooting things. You drop them in the first round you see them, move on to the next.
2. Story overall is just pretty dull. 3. Gollop seems to have looked at how everybody played the original XCOM (steal shit from all the other forces and just buy/sell your way to victory) and decided that should be the default. 4. You can't rename aircraft unless you buy AND activate the infuriatingly shitty Skies DLC. 5. All the DLCs are tonally inconsistent with the Lovecraftian horror of the base game. 6. There's no clear pacing with the equipment. 4 different kinds of heavy weapons. Which is better? Fucked if I know! |
