It's a 1-3 hour browser game. The premise is that you're a government employee trying to discover the IRL identities of musicians in a world where music has been outlawed because of capitalism
Obviously this plotline is so unrealistic that someone with a hammer-and-sickle tattoo would call bullshit
The author, Tim Sheinman, seems like a nice guy and he nails that insufferable indie music conversation so well that it backfired and I enjoyed the singers who say "deffo" behind bars. He also did a good job recreating that early 2000s indie sound and the puzzles start off easy and ramp up in difficulty
The soundtrack is up on Bandcamp

Nice to see this place still around. I fucked off to chans/fediverse with occasional potshots at Twitterati when I need the extra dopamine
