Dune: Spice Wars by pinback 04/26/2022, 5:08pm PDT I don't care much about Dune, but I was a big fan of Northgard. I've only played an hour, but the initial impression after five minutes was "Oh, it's Northgard except Scouts are now called Ornithopters." That's an exaggeration, but not so much that it would be fair to say "If you liked Northgard, you'll like this, otherwise you won't." Low-unit-count, slow-paced, region-based RTS, but on Arrakis instead of Vikingland. And if you make too much noise in any one place, a sandworm gonna eat your guys. An evolution of Northgard, with the hottest IP going, that's a pretty good description, I think.
