Forum Overview :: What Are You Playing Right Now?

I received the new Atari console this month and then a day later, gaben said my Steam Deck was ready. They are both amazing and my favorite consoles / whatever of the last five years.

Super Blood Hockey is perfect for the Steam Deck. Well, sort of. I tried to do a tournament and finally won the first game. When the second game was to begin, half my team did not show up on the ice. It doesn't let you play when that is the case. Other people had the bug 5 years ago. It happens.

The developer stated that saving is a pretty big deal and he could not justify supporting it. I get that for mid-game, but man, saving after each game in a tournament is easy. I read more of the types of comments he gets and he has actual crazy people screaming about Putin at him on his Steam page. So as far as I am concerned, no, we won't get saving after each tourney game because he's probably using that time to reinforce the metal bank vault walls around his house.

(An aside, it's a little amazing at how much rope Valve gives these loons on the Steam forums. At some point you have to take the games away from these screechy little shits, which I never thought I'd say. I guess I am getting older.)

Anyway, yes, Super Blood Hockey is pretty perfect for the Deck. Controls, sound, graphics all pretty much perfect and it's so satisfying to make two passes to get the goalie out of position and then fire the puck in the net. It was a great game before, it's perfect on that platform.
