| I'm running a minecraft multiplayer server. My brother and I were playing for a week or so, then we invited my nephew and my friend. So far it's just us four.
My friend is a strange guy. Very funny, but very strange. His play style has been to do limited resource collection, and not much self-preservation, but focus instead on building dick henges. Upside down Ts in a circle, sometimes with a central pit. It's amusing, whatever. We were building up a town near spawn together, and this was what he was doing around the wall, making 3 or 4 of those. But then he started randomly setting fire to the forest . . . not to clear it or anything. Just parts of trees all over. And then he made a 200 tall nerdpole that may or may not be the start of a 200 tall dick henge. Ok, I thought, "I guess the area around spawn will be like the Devastation of [friend's name]". Now he's put upside-down T dicks on houses in the town my brother and nephew and I had worked on. (I mean, just writing this is kinda funny.) Anyway, I removed them. I decided to regard it as a prank. He can't expect those to stay up, right? I actually don't know. He maintains it's not griefing because it's not destructive. I'm sure I've mostly or totally lost whatever sense of humor I once had. That's not sarcasm, I think that's true. I told him he can't put dicks on other people's projects. But maybe I'm just full of it. I dunno, and I'm confused and bothered by this. What do you think? I'm taking this way too seriously? I don't know how irritated or not he might be, either, but I haven't had any reply since I told him not to do that anymore. Is this performance art? Or just the laziest bullshit ever? |
