Also, this game is available on GOG. Ignore the outrage over the DLCs, it's a good game. And I actually would recommend getting all of them, or at least the major ones -- Crusade, Intrigue, Retribution, Mercenaries.

Update: the sensor hyperion improvement appears to do nothing. Oh well.
