I FUCKING HATE HADES!!!!!!!!!!! by Mischief Maker 04/03/2023, 8:29pm PDT I've never been a fan of Supergiant games anything from Bastion to Hades. The gameplay just does not click for me even though I've beaten Hades the final boss several times over. But I have become invested in the plot. Not Zagreus' attempt to understand his parents' breakup, the only one you're guaranteed to advance with a successful playthrough. No, the side plot where Zag attempts to reunite Orpheus and Eurydice. The vocal performances have always been the highlight of Supergiant's lineup and I wanna hear those two singing a duet, dammit! But the fucking RNG keeps denying me a path to Eurydice's house again and again and again! I've been playing all weekend and into the week! This is maddening! To make things worse, I spent 3 super rare diamonds on unlocking the song Orpheus' Lament on the music stand, only to find to my rage that it's NOT the acoustic and vocal performance he played earlier, but a nonvocal remix. IS THIS GAME TRYING TO PISS ME OFF?!!! Who the fuck ever thought a plot-heavy RPG should be mixed with an action roguelite?!!
