Wonder by Concerned Observer 10/30/2023, 6:51pm PDT I was initially very underwhelmed (the first few levels of World 1 barely felt like a game to me) but now, most of the way through World 3, I think this is a really top tier Mario. Incredible that there are still ideas and mechanics to mine out of these games. The controls feel snappier than the last few 2d releases too. The weakest parts to me are the new power ups. NSMB’s really big and really small are more interesting than the elephant or Bubble Bobble Mario.
