Remember how back in the 90s, there was a bunch of buzz how choose your own adventure movies were the wave of the future? Well Konami just came up with an even worse version of that. Ascension is an episodic CGI streaming series supposedly about Silent Hill. Viewers get to vote on what will happen in the next episode... ...with in game currency! that you can purchase with real money!!! Holy shit. You couldn't come up with a more pathetic freemium mobile concept if you tried. Beyond parody. |
