I'm not sure what you were inferring from my post, but I love the Ramones (and Nirvana for that matter), and never listen to arty rock bands - [troll] Tool, for instance, sucks ass [/troll]. I was just trying to point out that if what she likes about that particular tune is the rock, she won't like the Vaselines version, which isn't really rock.

I never got Rocket From The Crypt. Seemed substandard to me. I actually own Scream Dracula Scream and the only song I can get into is Suit City, which is okay since I bought the cd for $1 in the "we can't sell these " bin.

Anyways - you've got me all wrong. I'm a major fun poppy rock dork. I'm the guy that buys Sam Cooke albums. The only arty rock bands I like are Dismemberment Plan and Burning Airlines.

Or did I infer wrong things about your inference?
