If I didn't know about the trick to make your own six characters, I would never have figured it out in 2024.
I was going back and forth enjoying the process, making characters... it takes a while. Had four of them done and then my electric company cut my power to do maintenance work. It's ok. They texted my wife that this was going to happen 40 minutes after they started. I don't blame BG2 for this, but it would be nice if it had some sort of way to save characters after creation. Christ, the RPG I am working on does that.
The companions you free at the beginning whining about how they don't join your party is really, really bad writing. What awful world building.
This is the extended edition I am playing. Graphics are still fine, UI is fine. I can do without that "book turn" sound. Music is so goddamn loud. |
