One thing I forgot to mention about the combat by Rafiki 02/19/2024, 10:27am PST
Initially I was very bad at the game because I was button mashing and kept trying to attack the enemies as fast as possible assuming I had to attack them ASAP before they had a chance to do anything. Don't do this! If you over-aggressively attack, enemies will mob you while you're focusing on one and you will get VERY ANGRY. If you stand around, enemies will slow down too and you can see how long they'll wait to attack on their own if you don't do anything. They seem to speed up the more you do. You don't need or want to slow down to the level of Dark Souls and just wait for parries and counterattacks, but you have ample time to find the beat, pull of combos, and handle parrying while still getting S-rank.
