The options for better food, just as fast, for just as much money or less has exploded in the last 15 years.
A Taco Bell chalupa is $7 now. Seven dollars!!!!! Or I can just cross the street to the Chipotle or QDOBA on every block. Do those fucks know all the superior to a chalupa options are available for $7? In less time too, because it's actual humans running the line and not some dumbass trying to work the touch screen in front of me.
You can't take a flying fuck leap without tripping over some kind of bowl place. I can grab a ready made ridiculous 700 calorie cobb salad from the corner store and be gone in under 2 minutes.
Maybe I just didn't know the right places when I was a kid in the 80s and 90s, but there were no other options that could compete with fast food for speed and cheapness.
How the FUCK is a meatless Impossible Whopper more expensive than a meat burger? You greedy fucks. |
