| Disco Elysium - fun for a single playthrough. A bunch of jackoffs have adopted it as their ideological guidepost even though the whole "Be a Communist" bit is only a sidequest that you don't have to participate in. But you can constantly talk about how you'd like to shoot all the landowners and kill their dog without any real consequence. But there's no consequence to be a stark raving fascist either so who cares? It's literally an almost un-fuckable game, an isometric walking simulator with a books worth of dialogue. I'd rate it higher than Jonesy because it is at least very funny.
The Outer Worlds - New Vegas without nearly the scope, trash-compacted down into maybe like 3-4 zones. There's a lot of depth to what little content there is, but it's like a fine condiment spread too thin. The Outer Wilds - Go read fucking Camus or Nieschtze instead of wasting your time with this nihilistic, dumb shit. The premise is interesting for a bit but there's no payoff at the end other than a Rick and Morty lesson in nothing matters. |
