I like your interpretation of the plot... although it's a stretch. I didn't hate the plot or anything, I just think it's a distraction from the atmosphere. The reference to "great houses" is another Dune note, by the way! So it's not just the quasi-Bene Gesserit.

The final level was easier than I expected. I didn't really make a lot of use of the "shout" or "throw the ball" actions. I wonder if they're any good.

It's funny, because my complaints are the exact opposite of the people on Steam. I didn't think the game was too long; if anything, it was too short. I was really expecting another few palette swaps and some old-school cruelty. I guess I am out of step with modern games. Also, I didn't think the story was paper-thin. As I said above, I thought there was too much of it. They could have gone more minimal.

The gold levels are very pretty, I wish I had some good screenshots of those to link.

Too bad this studio didn't get another chance at making a game.
